Hello All,
There is no limit on the number of posts or pages in wordpress blog which is one similarity between these two. But there are few differences between these which we have described as under:
Posts:
It is a part of an ongoing document that is categorized related to a point. A Post will always be added to the top of main page of the blog. As one can published the post other posts will move down. When they drop off the front page you can get to them using the Archives links, category links or at the bottom of the blog will be a link to ‘Previous Entries’. One can change how many posts you show on the front of the blog on your Settings > Reading page.
To write a post: click Write -> start writing in the box.
To edit a post: click Manage -> Posts -> click edit for the post one need to be changed.Pages:
Pages are not part of that same ongoing document but they complement it, add to it, and provide additional information. They are not categorized. A Page is something on its own. It is added as a new part of the blog. An ‘About’ page is an example. If one has the Pages widget in sidebar the new page will be listed there.
To write a page: click Write -> Write Page and start writing in the box.
To edit a page: click Manage -> Pages and click edit for the page one need to be changed. Thanks,
Shane G.
