Sometimes you have experienced that when someone leaves comments on your blog, he provides wrong email address and URL. This happens because he does not need to verify these things when leaving the comments. He can enter any fake email address and URL. So is there any way to avoid this thing?
Yes! You can avoid such comments. Generally, wordpress asks for email address when someone enters comments, but do not verify it. But you can restrict the comments to only wordpress users so that only the wordpress users can leave comments on your blog. Follow the steps below:
1) Login to your dashboard.
2) Click on “Setting”.
3) In the field Membership, you will find this option: “Users Must be Registered and Logged in to comment”.
