You can allow or deny the emoticons like :- ) or : P to graphics when displayed using following steps:
1) Login to your dashboard.
2) Go to Settingsà Writing.
3) Under Formatting Field, you will find this option:
‘Convert Emoticons Like :- ) and : P to graphics on display’
4) Tick this option to allow emoticons or untick to deny emoticons.
