Case Study: How to Transfer my wordpress MU blog from sub-domain to subdirectory and visa versa?

Problem Summary: I have installed wordpress MU blog with an option of sub-domain. Now, my requirement is changed and need to setup my blog with sub directory rather than sub-domain. How can I change it?

It is not possible to transfer your installed wordpress MU blog from sub-domain to subdirectory and visa versa. We can not modify these settings neither from the configuration file nor from the .htaccess file.

To transfer wordpress MU blog from sub-domain to subdirectory and visa versa has only one solution and it is reinstallation of the blog.
