Case Study: ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@'localhost’ In WordPress Blog

Hi,

Problem Summary:

Whenever I tries to do login into the wordpress admin area, it throws this error message:

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@'localhost’

Possible Solutions:

1) Assign all required permissions to wordpress database user.
2) Check that you have set the proper database username, password and host details in wp-config.php file of your theme.
3) Repair your database and database user permissions.
4) Reset the database user password and make necessary changes in wp-config.php file in wordpress blog.
