Hello Friends,
You have wordpress MU, and people are signing up on your site. They are filling up a small form and they validate their email address, correct?
Now, when you look at the sign up page, there are only a few fields. The default fields are:
Username
Email Address
Blog Title
That’s It!!
But What if you want your users to fill up more fields??? Like personal information, Full Name, Blog description, etc??? Oh, then you have to create the required fields changing the coding’s and database, correct?
But now using buddypress, you can do this in a fraction of time. You can create the additional fields using the following steps:
1) Login to your WordPress MU dashboard.
2) Go to Site Adminà –>Profile Fields.
3) Click on Add new field.
4) Create the fields by just giving it a title. You can select more options for the filed from here.
5) Click on save!
This will add these fields to the sign up page of your site.
