This plugin is developed using jQuery zooming tool. It gives any image on the page the ability to be magnified when the mouse rolls over it. The square effect uses a “magnifying glass” that appears over the image lets the user zoom in to show close-up detail of the image.

FEATURES:

  • Easy – Just upload and activate the plugin.
  • Customize – The default zoom level (ie: 2x) and The default size of the “magnifier” (ie: 75×75) can be changed.
  • When the user scrolls the mouse wheel while over the image, the zoom level decreases or increases based on the scroll direction. The range of zoom can be changed (ie: 1x to 10x).

Hi,

When a user inserts an image using the visual editor, WordPress automatically sets the width and height attributes on the image tag.

But when the images’ width is larger than the CSS “max-width” value, the width is capped but the height is not affected, leading to distorted images.

This plugin either removes all height and width tags from images of a given class or scales them to a given width to assist browsers in creating the layout.

This plugin offers wordpress administrator a method of updating all of their blog images at once after changes have been made to the Media Upload settings.

Once this plugin installed, you will find a new link at “Media” in Admin Menu. This link is called “Scan Images”. Click this link and then click the “Start Scan” button.
